Saturday 25 June 2022: Join us for our monthly Camino Training Walk in Blackheath. For June there are 2 routes offered and will depart from Glenella, 56 Govetts Leap Rd, Blackheath.   Come along to share the Camino spirit.

The EASY walk of 11kms will be around the streets of Blackheath including Campbell Rhododendron Gardens and Govett Leap Lookout and return to Glenella.   Please note the EASY walk the meeting time is 8.45am for 9.00am start.

 

The Medium walk is 14kms, a good training walk along the Burramoko fire trail out to Baltzer Lookout with spectacular views over the Grose Valley (We previously did this walk in November 2020 it was very hot that day! You will see how much the bush has recovered since the 2019/20 bushfires).   Please note the MEDIUM walk the meeting time is 8.15am for 8.30am start.

If you are interested in joining us for either of the walks on Saturday 25 June, you must register via TRYBOOKING  

Remember to bring your Pilgrim Record to be stamped.

Please read the requirements of what to bring and wear and to ensure you will be able to do the chosen walk, especially the Medium route as there is no way out but for the return walk, and no toilet facilities once on the firetrail and in National Park.  Please note if you are new to the Blue Mountains Camino Supporters Group, we ask you to register for the Easy walk.
 
The Camino Meetup is at Glenella, 1.45pm for 2.00pm start.    After the morning walk, you are welcome to eat your lunch in the gardens of Glenella.
 
Camino Open Weekend at Glenella
If you are interested in staying at Glenella for their 'Camino Open Weekend' you will need to book the walk PRIOR to booking accommodation at Glenella. Limited beds still available.
